| Do I Need A Visa For India? |
For U.S.
citizens: Yes, you need a visa to enter
India.
For non-US citizens living in U.S.: Yes. A copy of your permanent resident card or your valid U.S. visa is
also required in addition to your passport. Call for consular fees for non-U.S. citizens.
For applicants of Indian Origin applying for a visa for the first time on US passport: Yes. Additionally,
the Indian passport must be submitted with the application for cancellation and return, and a

For applicants of Indian Origin applying for a visa on a new US passport: Yes. Additionally, photocopy of
an Indian visa in the previous US passport must be submitted with the application.
